I understand that 3 wire circuits don't work with 'typical' AFCI breakers (must use 2-pole or specialized breakers), but want to ensure I am still following code with the following scenario:

2 wire from panel to switch box
2 separate switches in box (one for fan, one for fan's light)
3 wire from the switch box to the fan box

Believe it or not, I've only found one reference to this fairly common situation online and it did not mention Arc-Fault compatibility. Maybe it is just 'too obvious' to even ask the question.... especially since the fan is based on a 3 wire design.

Thank you in advance for your expertise and patience
