A valve I bought will do 3 seperate items but not 2 together.
I want to run one or a second or both.
Can I use a w with 2 check valves to solve this? Can I bury the check valves in a Canadian wall? Is there a type/brand of check valve I should use?

It would be easier I think to replace the shower fixture or to decide what two fixtures you would want to use at the same time. Then purchase a flow valve for that one dedicated fixture so you can run it by it's self....

Having a rain head and hand held at the same time is perfect for showering couples!!!

I only have 2.
Rain and hand held.

Position 1 would be 1 head
Position 2 would be the hand held
Position 3 would be both.

I considered jets but the few timed I have used I was not overly impressed. And, i fear, the water usage would be more that I can take; its for my 3 daughters bathroom.

The other thing is the valve I bought is thermostatic with diverter all in one.

So. Check valves, trust em enough to tile over?
