3/4 PEX for dishwasher drain hose

I have a bunch of left over 3/4 PEX and would like to use some for a dishwasher drain. First, is it ok to use PEX for a dishwasher drain? Second, is there a best way to adapt to both ends disposal and dishwasher.

So sounds like it being rigid could be a problem? I had a stretch of what looks like rubber radiator hose connected to the dishwasher's hose on there before. That would probably be less rigid too. Thanks for the input.

I don't see that using PEX would be a problem. The end connections? That's a bit tougher.

I actually have seen someone use PEX as a condensate drain. The funny part was they used clevis hangers and no PEX supports so by the time I got there it was all saggy and sad looking. But other than it being undersized it should work OK.

I don't see that using PEX would be a problem. The end connections? That's a bit tougher.

Do these connections look safe? I'd need to add stainless hose clamps and cut the black connector on the right cut down to the 3/4 segment. Is a ferrule inside the PEX where clamped required? Thanks for the assist.

I don't see PEX as something you can clamp to. You would be better off with 3/4" copper there.
