Hello guys, I have a couple of questions. In my jurisdiction in Texas we use IPC code. I'm on a job where a bathroom has 12 carrier wall hung water closets with a 4 inch drain and the whole battery is being vented with a 2 inch horizontal vent leading into a 4 inch vent stack. It seems like the vent is undersized. I thought the 2 inch could only catch up to 24 dfu. Also, on the grade for a two inch vent. It seems that most give it 1/8 fall but some people are saying that the grade of the sanitary dictates the grade of the vent. So there saying that if the grade for a 2 inch sanitary is 1/4 inch per foot then the grade for the 2 inch vent is 1/4 in. Can someone please help with these questions?
