1G Tank for an Ecodrake?

I recently replaced a toilet with a 1.28G Eco Drake (CST743E). I really like the toilet, and would like to replace the other toilet in our house with a Toto. Ideally I would like to go with the lowest flush (living in a drought prone area and being on septic). I can get another CST743E for ~$180 and a Drake II 1G (CST454CUFG) goes for closer to $400. Is it possible to put the Drake II tank or flush tower on the Eco Drake, or if it is even possible, is it asking for poor performance?

The 1G tank needs a 1G bowl. The Eco drake comes with a 1.28 bowl.
The Drake II comes with a 1G bowl.
