Hello everyone! My name is Billy OBryan from West Palm Beach Florida. This is the tub faucet that’s in my 1957 house and there are two identical baths. I cannot figure out what brand this was or where to get parts for it. The new brass assembly next to it is a Pfister verve kit. It uses 12H-2H/C stems and a 12H-18D diverter. For reference only… I’m sure somebody on here he’s going to know exactly what system this is. And I am super grateful for this for him to be able to get this help.
And yes, when we finally are able to remodel the bathrooms, we are just going to knock the walls out but it is a very classic 50s style bath which would require removing the entire bathroom lol. With a new baby and a two yr old It’s a little too much to worry about right now I just don’t want my little one getting Hurt by the old chrome.

Your valve was made by Sterling. 2 different rebuild kits are available. The shorter stem can be used due to the height of the escutcheon.

Sounds like a plan! I really appreciate it. I knew somebody would be able to comment in a quick manner from all the research I did on this site. Nobody seems to have any of them in stock anywhere around me so I will order a set. In the meantime, I just changed out the bib washers, plastic washers and could not find any of the rubber sleeves in that size so I just took some packing rope and made a packing out of it like we use and boats for direct drive propeller shaft lol
Cheers!
