Hello experts, I renovated an older home that had plaster in the bathroom. I removed all and replaced. Not having a plumbing background, I did not realize I would be creating a 14” rough for my toilet since I removed 2 inch thick plaster. My question is related to options. Before someone suggests simply buying a 14 rough toilet, I attempted 4 times and all came broken from American standard. No local supply houses have them. The sewer pipe is 3 inch and I cannot buy an offset flange that would join up to the cast sewer pipe. Could I use a reducing 4x3 Fernco donut and press inside a 4 inch abs offset flange and press over the 3 inch sewer pipe or would that cause clogs? I don’t want to jack hammer slab. Thanks everyone!
