Recently installed new water tank 1 in. Input hole had two plastic prongs sticking out from hole attached inside to bladder. Should I have broken these off or slip tee over them and screw it in? Which is what I did. System works but I still feel like I should have broken them off. Home Depot tank from water works . Help desk couldn’t answer question.

Yes I’m aware that it only holds about 3 gal of water. Its for a small seasonal camp. Size chart said it will replace up to 30 gal galv water storage tank. There is a tight space for hook up.

LOL I don't know who makes those stupid charts. A 30 gallon pressure tank will hold about 7-8 gallons of water. The problem with a 14 or 30 gallon size tank is that the pressure changes from 60 to 40 and back again for every 3 or 7 gallons used. Once people with systems like this switch to constant pressure they never go back. :)
