1/8 slope ok for 3" pipe

I have no chice but to run 1/8 slope on a 20' horizontal main sewer leaving the house. Can 3" Have 1/8

I just read the British Columbia plumbing code. They say you must have a minimum of 1 in 50 slope on 3" or less pipe.

I always thought it was 1/8th for 4"

my code say's 1/8" on 3" or more. your code say's 1 in 50 on 3" or less. On 1/4" or more the water will run past the poop. on 1/8" the water will help carry the poop down the drain. I don't know why in the hell their isn't one universal plumbing code.....You made me explain.
