I installed a new 1/2 horse jet pump. it is primed but will not pump past 30lbs. the pump keeps running. I put a pressure test on it and the line stayed at 60lbs so there is no leaks. I did have a check vale at the top end but I removed it. I have 150' of 1 1/4" pipe to the lake. there is a foot valve on the end. I checked it and it is working. the line is in 11 feet of water. it then has a height of 12 feet to the cabin. is my head height to high?
the water level did go down 7 feet but the heights above are after the drop.

Where is the Jet ? do you have a filter on the input ?

What model is it ?

You may need to put the jet closer to the water for a 150 foot run.

May be a suction leak.

I am just guessing.
