DWV Layout; back to the drawing board?

Hi all, love this forum! Has been a huge help getting me closer to passing inspection as an owner-contractor updating in IPC country. Ok, so in this initial layout (image) A) I tried a rolled wye above centerline for dry venting the toilet and shower only to learn on inspection that dry vent...

Running Washer Drain Into Utility Sink

Hello! First of all, this forum has been incredibly helpful as I work through home renovations. Thank you all for your time and advice! Now onto my specific question - I am moving our washer and dryer to the other side of our laundry room (we are expanding a bathroom, so we have to move it)...

Old House - Floor drain, washer basin & new standpipe help

Hi Folks, I'm a first time poster here, but I have been coming to the site for a couple of years now. My house (in Nebraska) came with a basin for the washing machine drain. See picture #1: That isn't terribly problematic, except that the basin empties into what seems to be a faulty floor...

Advice on adding a utility sink to laundry room, with an unusual plumbing layout.

I love this site and find it useful, but I cannot find information on my setup. I want to add a utility sink to my laundry room on the first floor (with basement below and second floor above). I can see what I believe to be a vent pipe, and the washer drain. I don't know how to tie the sink into...

WASHER DRAIN TO KITCHEN SINK TRAP

WASHER DRAIN TO KITCHEN TRAP Need to install a compact 2.3 cu.ft. washer/dryer combo next to my kitchen sink and a dishwasher in a multi-unit condo (not a house). Would like to use a double wye or something similar to the pic to connect all three fixtures (sink, dishwasher and W/D) to a...

He never trapped the washer drain...it goes directly in the drain line..is this ok? The wall is closed up...
