    Installing new relief valve.

    Relief valve leaks a little so going to put in a new one. It's an older tank and have seen horror stories of problems after draining the tank. So I'm wondering is it possible to just close the inlet valve, open a hot water faucet and drain enough out that way??

    Sandpoint is slow to build pressure. Replaced the waterlogged tank, put a new pump on, (just a cheaper one in case it wasn't the problem and if nothing else would have a spare), took everything back apart to put the quieter Goulds pump back on and check the check valve, wasn't bound up or...
