    my pump hesitates

    I have a shallow well, with a Gould pump. Lately, when I open a faucet, I have to wait up to 5 or 10 seconds for the water to start pumping. The pump itself, once the faucet is opened, goes down to 0 pressure, hangs there 5 or 10 seconds, then the pressure goes up to normal and I get water...
