    This cast iron hub has a 1.5" drain for a tub/shower combo. I'm converting the tub to shower only and want to go 2". I can't tell if its possible with this hub.     Need to raise shower p-trap

    I'm finishing my laundry room and would like to maximize the ceiling height. Can I raise the P trap as shown in my rough drawing, or does this become an S trap? Those two grey boxes are joists. Thanks- Kevin
