Water Heater Replacement Help - Picture Attached

I have to swap this out this week, and all my tools are over 100 miles away. All I have is a pipe cutter. Hot is easy enough, using the shark bite with one end that goes to the heater and the other end to the copper pipe, but what about the cold side? I feel like I would be twisting it two...

Would you feel comfortable with this?

I am having my townhouse sided and they moved my grill and kinked the gas line. This is how they fixed it. Does it seem ok? I am not so sure.

Can I remove glue and primer from pvc?

I cut a piece of 1 1/2" pvc right at an elbow and I want to put a new fitting on. However, there is some residual primer and glue on the pipe. I can't really cut anymore off due to it's proximity to a beam. Is there a way I can remove this glue and primer and put on a new fitting?

What is the best way to strap pvc vents in an attic that are running horizontally(with a slight pitch)? What makes one a stack and one just a drain? A "stack" is a mostly vertical pipe. What goes through it determines whether is a sewer, drain, or vent stack. Is there a maximum distance a drain can go vertically?

Best way to tie a shower into this stack?

The only two items draining here is a toilet and a shower. The shower is being vented shortly after the trap and then runs towards the stack in the picture. In the picture I have the 2" vent going to the roof, but I may tie it in to the main 3" vent. Anyways, what is the best way to tie the...

    Bath Tub cleanout

I am turning the bath tub drain 90 degrees horizontal before it gets to the stack. I know this will require a clean out. Will the tub drain serve the purpose of the clean out in this situation since it make an access point for a snake? The ceiling underneath will be finished, so adding a...

I am converting a mother daughter into a single family home. I cut and capped the incoming 3/4" hot and cold that used to service the upstairs mother daughter. These two pipes fall right in a hallway closet I will be framing out. This is right across from the hall from the proposed master...

Hi all...first post here. I am plumbing a new master bath. My main stack is all the way to the left of the room. To the far right is a tub and between the tub and the stack is a shower. Do I have to tie each of these into the stack individually, or can I have one run from the tub to the...
