Korky Fill Valve - Water rises very slowly after shutoff

I just installed a new cap on the Korky fill valve in a Kohler Wellworth toilet, along with a new flapper. I left the lid off for a couple days to watch the water level and was surprised to see that it rises very slowly. When the valve shuts off, the water level is just below the water level...

25"x22" Stainless drop-in sink in 27" sink base cabinet?

I'm redoing the kitchen counter and under-counter cabinets in a house with limited space. Can I use a 27" wide sink base cabinet for a standard 25" x 22" stainless steel drop-in sink? If I have to use a 30" wide sink base cabinet, the sink will be not be centered on a window and access will be...

Handheld Shower Diverter in Stall Shower

By searching in Google for "2-way in-wall diverter" I found the American Standard 1660.440, which will do the job. It costs more than the Delta 1704 thermostatic control valve, probably reflecting the absence of competition in diverters.

Handheld Shower Diverter in Stall Shower

Can anyone recommend a specific brand or model? I failed to find one in the Delta or Kohler online catalogues. A Google search turns up hundreds of irrelevant links.

Handheld Shower Diverter in Stall Shower

That won't work for me, as I have to make it accessible to a person who is partially handicapped and needs to sit down in the shower. I want to install a diverter valve directly above the main control valve. I suppose I could cap off one of the outlets on a 3-way diverter.

Handheld Shower Diverter in Stall Shower

I want to install an optional handheld shower in a shower stall and need a 2-way diverter to switch between the handheld and the fixed shower head. Who makes such a diverter, preferably with 1/2" sweat inlet and outlets?

    Delta FYI

Is that for replacement parts only, or have the 1704, 1724, 1725, 1728, etc. been discontinued? They're still shown on the Delta website. I was planning to get a 1704-CWS. http://deltacom.deltafaucet.com/media/Product_Tech_Docs/Spec_Sheets/DSP-B-1704_Rev_A_5865.pdf

Need Corian Shower installer in NYC area

Thanks for the tip. After watching the videos on Wedi's website, I changed my mind again. Wedi's materials probably cost more than Kerdi's, but there should be substantial savings of time and labor. With Wedi, there is no need to build a mud base, hang drywall or build a wooden curb. The base...

Need Corian Shower installer in NYC area

Thanks for the tip about the Grizzly demolition hammer drill. I have a Hilti TE-S hammer drill, but it's rated for hole drilling only and does not take their hammer bits. After additional research, I have concluded that I really need an experienced Kerdi shower installer in the NYC area...

Need Corian Shower installer in NYC area

I was going to leave that to the shower installer, since I don't have a demolition hammer drill and hardly made a dent in the cement base with a hand chisel. However, you're undoubtedly right that it would make sense to remove the old base before bringing someone in. I'm sure the tool rental...

Need Corian Shower installer in NYC area

Can anyone recommend an experienced Corian shower installer in the New York City area? I live in Westchester County, New York, north of the city. The shower is slightly larger than 36"x36" and open on one side. The prior owners had a bathroom remodel but were cheated by the remodelers, who...
