    Drain & Vent for Toilet

I wanted to attach an image to show what issue I have. The only way I could figure out how to do it is to start a new post. I appreciate all that commented on my drawing on my previous post and I realize now that it would not work because a portion of the vent would be horizontal below the...

    Drain & Vent for Toilet

In my drawing I neglected to show this but the horizontal part of the vent actually slopes upward approximately 1" and it is about a foot long, does that still make it illegal? The vent is the main vent for the toilet. This is a single story house nothing draining into it. And I'm a bit...

Attached is a crude drawing of a proposed drain and vent for a toilet. Do you see anything wrong with it? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Bathroom Exhaust Fan

Thanks Jadnashua for your quick response. That all makes sense. Would you or anyone else know how far a bathroom waste vent needs to be away from the cooler intake?

    Plumbing question

Thanks Brent. Yes it does help. I didn't know if I could roll the combination down to as far as 22. I thought there might be a code that said it had to be at the 45 or greater. If I can roll it over to 22, I can then get the required drop of 1/4 per foot. Thanks again.

    Plumbing question

I will try to describe it better. The 3" ABS waste pipe from the toilet is dropping straight down thru the floor to a combination tee & wye. There is a clean out on one end of the combination and on the other end is a 6 foot section of 3" that is horizontal. The vent comes off between the...

    Plumbing question

When connecting a 3" horizontal waste line from a toilet into the main 3" line using a combination fitting, what angle does the combination fitting have to be. Does it have to be positioned so it is 45 degrees or greater on the main line? Thanks in advance.

    Watercloset or Combo

Thanks for getting back to me Terry. Sorry for the confusion. I will try to explain it more clearly. I have to move a toilet from one corner of the bathroom to another corner across the room. I will be running the 3" horizontal waste line from the toilet approximately 6 feet to the main 3"...

    Watercloset or Combo

I am planning to install a new toilet. From the closet flange I was planning on running a short section of 3" pipe straight down to a 3x3x2 wye where the vent would take off. What is the proper fitting I should use to go horizontal. A 90 or a combo. This branch drain will be 6 to 8 feet...
