    Washing machine box rough in

    Hi, I'm going to add a laundry room down into my basement and there is a 3" drain line which is coming down from main floor washroom (not being used often). I'm wondering if I can tap into that line. I don't have any dry vent down there. What's the appropriate way to do it. Thanks
