    air in water line

I know my original post is old but I've fixed my excessive air issue. What started as a small amount of sputtering got so bad that I had to do something, what I discovered on the Culligan Iron Cleer system is the pressure relief valve will become gummed up with iron particles/sludge and stop...

    Brown rusty water after chlorination

Where to hook up the hose? I'm having the same exact problem after chlorinating my well, I've done this before but never had a problem with the water clearing up. Where do you recommend hooking the hose up to run the water?

Longevity I'm confused, are you saying that 6 years is GOOD for a AO Smith Power Vent water heater?

Intermittent Intellivent/Powershot problems: gas HWH fails to stay on sometimes

Sensor Cass, thanks for the advice. I've got another question, the power vent motor on top of my unit will get very hot to the touch, hotter than I would think it should get. Is this normal? Can the motor being going (6+ years old) and cause a vent system code error? thanks...

    Honeywell Zone System Damper Question

I have a 3 zone system on a forced air furnace that uses Honeywell spring return damper actuators. (part#M847D1004) When one of the zones call for heat there is a constant tapping noise coming from the damper actuator, you can see the actuator "clicking" as if it's opening too far or going past...

    Adding a zone system...

Hi all, I have a natural gas forced air system w/central air. Can I add a zone system for more control over my heating/cooling? I have a 2700+ two story with a finished basement and would like a little more control. If a zone system isn't the way to go what are my options? Thanks in advance...

    New sulphur smell...

I will have to get back to you on the depth of the well as I'm not in Michigan right now, I should have in my paperwork. It does have a well cap on the pipe coming out of the ground, probably a 5-6 inch diameter PVC casing.

    New sulphur smell...

Here's my problem, I'm hoping for some responses and possible solutions. I have a 5 year old house in south central Michigan on a well that I lived in for three years from new with no problems with water odors. I've been renting it out for the last year, no problems with water odor from the...

    air in water line

Thanks Bob, I will also be more than happy to live with the airy looking water and not have to deal with the smell. I guess I'm on a quest to see if I can eliminate the AM sputtering, I can also live with it, it's just not something I think should be happening. I could be wrong but.... hopefully...

    air in water line

My related issues... I have a similar problem/question to the air in the line issues. I have a submersible pump deep well set up with a bladder pressure tank, about 6 years old. The water from our kitchen faucet (1st floor) is effervescent, tons of tiny bubbles that clear up immediately, no...
