    Vanity drain update

    The pipe appears to be 1-1/4" chrome tube. It looks like the 45 is reduced with a bushing to fit the tube. I was thinking of cutting the tube at the 45 and cleaning it up. I thought I could use a 1-1/4" slip joint coupling to connect the trap. Does that make sense?

    I know that current wall hung toilets are rated for at least 500 #'s. I am trying to find if that holds true for older (70's) WH toilets. I have reached out to American Standard and Kohler. No answers.
