    Question on pump pressure

    Hi - I have a 1/2 hp 230v submersible pump in a 85 foot well. The pressure is set at 40-60 and the tank is set at 38. What is happening is when the cut-off reaches 60 and shuts down, the pressure immediately drops to ~55. What causes this? Thanks Jack
