    Multichoice R22000 shower valve depth

OK what I did is create a mockup of the tile/thinset thickness. I estimated 5/16 (tile) + 1/8 (thinset) = about 7/16. Since it was 7/16 I just used a piece of the 1/2" kerdi as the tile/thinset thickness. I then added a 1/2" shim to the valve. In the new pics the plaster guard is about 1/8 back...

    Multichoice R22000 shower valve depth

Since it looks like I am too far back and I will have to move it out I could also reduce tile thickness on that wall. I currently have 1/2". What is a min tile thickness to use on that wall? And what thickness thinset would it require?

    Multichoice R22000 shower valve depth

By mud ring you mean the black plastic that is now sitting behind the face of the Kerdi? And that should be flush with front of tile?

    Multichoice R22000 shower valve depth

Once I add thinset and tile with this Multichoice valve be far enough out of the wall? note: pics show location of the blocking with a tape measure on the face of Kerdi-board

    Leak check

We killed power to well and just put this on a hose bib https://www.lowes.com/pd/Watts-Water-Pressure-Test-Gauge-Brass-3-4-in-Mght-Pressure-Relief-Valve/1001063062 and it is at 48. So now we just watch and see if it drops? How long is a good length of time to test?

    Leak check

This is on a standard well system. (just checking for in house plumbing leaks not well leaks) I was going to put something like Watts Water Pressure Test-Gauge Brass 3/4-in on a hose bib and see it needle drops. Then I though it might be the same thing to just take a reading off the pressure...

    Tall Skinny Pressure Tank

Cary Austin is sometime helpful but jumping on threads is a bit much. All I was asking is about tank and nothing else

    Tall Skinny Pressure Tank

I understand I did read that skinnier ones might not last as long due to diaphragm issues. and you seem to reinforce that. Too bad, would still like to find one that is skinnier than the 20" at 54 gal but that just might be the slimmest one.

    Tall Skinny Pressure Tank

I am OK going down a bit in capacity but I want skinnier not wider. Like I said I found 20" at 54 gal - Zilmet. I am trying to beat that ratio if possible

    Tall Skinny Pressure Tank

I have the Water Worker 86 GAL at 26" and I just bought the Water Worker 44. The 44 is 22" there is another brand that has 20" at 54 gal - Zilmet. I have seen videos that look like they have even skinner ones. Anyone know the Tallest Skinniest Pressure Tank with most capacity?

Utility Sink Faucet, Central Brass 0048-UA Series

I bought this: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Central-Brass-Wall-Mount-2-Handle-Standard-Kitchen-Faucet-in-Chrome-0048-UA/100411281 and tried to install it in my stainless Utility Sink one side kept leaking even with dope and tape then I think I might have stripped by over tightening. (note: it...

    Using stainless VS brass

I might replace the Pressure tank anyway and if I do I would have to alter that section anyway. If I do I thought it would add flexibility to put a Tee inline and direct outdoor water on that side. But you are right, it might be easier to branch off on the other side. In either case I am...

    Using stainless VS brass

And can the standard fitting found at Home Depot work with this pipe? For example stuff like this https://www.lowes.com/pd/Genova-1-1-4-in-Dia-Insert-Coupling/3455124

    Using stainless VS brass

I have been looking at adding iron treatment on the right side of the Pressure Switch due to staining. I was told I could add a Tee on the left side of the Pressure Switch (for example, by cutting into that black poly you see on the left) and from that tee I would run my outdoor water. I was...

    Iron Test Results

New house with well that was drilled in 2008 and I just started using. I knew from talking to neighbors and knowing the area in general (flathead lake MT) that my well water is good clean mountain water. It also has no strange taste...tastes great + is crystal clear. But I noticed when I heated...
