Drill Moen 2590 to increase flow?

Thanks, I would try to cut into the plastic where the blue arrows are and allow more water to pass throug. My tub is a deep tub, 16 inches to the overflow. So I need a valve that will put out as much water as possible.

Drill Moen 2590 to increase flow?

That is the question , I am trying to decide between a few valves and It is obvious to me from this post: https://terrylove.com/forums/index.php?threads/max-flow-shower-valve.108019/ That valves are restricted. I have a different post on delta, and this one is Moen. Can I drill these ports...

Delta Rough in shower and Tub valve, can this port be drilled to add more flow for the tub?

I have been looking at several valves trying to find one that will fill my tub fast, and then I saw this... It has a port at the top (red arrow) that feeds the tub spout and shower, its a hole that narrows down to a small size (at least on mine it does). The bottom hole, blue arrow is blocked...

Moen Shower Valves, are these valves flow restricted? 2510 and 2590?

That helps greatly thank you. 2nd question, the difference between 2510 and 2590 is 2590 has "stops". I guess that lets you turn off one side so you could work on another? Do I really need that? Is that worth it, once its behind the tile and the wall I am never going to see it again. Tell...

Moen Shower Valves, are these valves flow restricted? 2510 and 2590?

I am being told by technical support that they are not flow restricted, but they sure look like it to me? I need at least 2.5GPM but want as much as I can get... Looking at the 2510 first picture, and 2590 second picture. I cant get a picture of it, but the shower and bath port have a small...

How many 45 bends is a vent pipe allowed to have? I want to do at least 4

I am wondering how many bends I can put in a vent pipe. Basicly, I want it to look like this, and straight through the roof from there... Is this within code?

Can i run a vent pipe through the top plate? I don't think it is load bearing. Photo included

Thanks for your response. House was built in 85, not sure why it does this here...I believe the load bearing wall is the hallway that goes through the middle of the house and is 3 feet to the right of this pipe.

Can i run a vent pipe through the top plate? I don't think it is load bearing. Photo included

Hi please see the photo. The picture was taken in our guest bathroom. This is the sink vent pipe. This is inside the ferndown, below the attic. We are removing the ferndowns in this bathroom remodel but see it here. I want to run that vent pipe straight up through that top plate the arrow...

Can I install a tankless condencing water heater in the same 24" by 24" closet the old traditional water heater was in?

I think I answered my own question... I have another one, $4,600 estimate to install. How long would it take a professinal to install one of these? They will reaplace the gas line, but not far in the attic. I assume they will use the existing exhost line through the roof. Is this a 4 hour...

New tub calls for installer to mark the underside of the tub on the studs so a stringer can be placed to brace the tub. Impossible? Photo included.

So I am trying to install this Signiture Hardware Sitka tub, and the directions say: "Mark the final positoin of the underside of the deck by tracing a line onto the studs" Then later it says.. ".... position the tub witin the recess until the rim is leveled against the stringers. Here are...

Can I install a tankless condencing water heater in the same 24" by 24" closet the old traditional water heater was in?

Thank you on the toilet, that gives me a parameter I can work around. That means all i need to do is cut into this wall 3 1/2". So, I guess that is my ultimate question... Can I put a tankless in this box, 24 x 20? Can I do what is in the picture below?
