    Threaded tub spout plastic insert

Hey guys/gals, sorry I'm having a hard time finding an answer. For threaded tubspout that mounts to a 1/2" pipe! Do you put tethlon tape between the brass pipe and the plastic insert? And also on the outside of the insert between the tub spout? Thanks!

    Water softener Check valve needed?

Thanks for the reply! So sounds like it needs a P trap AND an air gap? I'm pretty limited in vertical room but I'll try to make both fit. So does this mean I need two air gaps? I suppose combining the drain hoses right off the machines might have one blasting stuff back at the other. Also even...

    Water softener Check valve needed?

correct. They go to the septic system. Also the the sump pump goes to the septic system. The softener and sulfur are on the total opposite of the basement and its a pretty long stretch. Ideally I would drain them outside right away via a PVC pipe but I'm in Canada and don't know enough to start...

    Water softener Check valve needed?

So I'm just an average DIYer so treat me like an idiot. My water softener and sulfur machine both discharge vertically, run along the wall in a 5/8 (inside diameter) pipe and then tie into an 1 1/2" pipe. Sulfur remover is extremely loud when it goes off but I'm more worried about the discharge...

ABS Glue on fittings, how to remove?

I was on the home stretch of plumbing my two toilets when I messed up the last little group of fittings and quickly pulled them apart before they dryed. Unfortuantly there is now dryed cement/glue on some important pieces that would be a pain in the butt to cut out and replace. Could I use like...

    ABS 3" Sanitary Tee, H x S x H exist???

Ahh I got it. I will use a 3 Inch Wye to connect to the first toilet via closet bend and have the other branch of the wye head off down the line to the next toilet. Thanks for the input and brainstorming guys, I had a HUGE mental block

    ABS 3" Sanitary Tee, H x S x H exist???

ohh not allowed by code. Grrrrrr. The pipe runs right underneath it so I think I will have to move it to fit. Thanks for the input. Are you allowed putting a WYE on its side instead of verticle and then do the closet bend?

    ABS 3" Sanitary Tee, H x S x H exist???

So I guess I have to find an offset closet flange that has a "spigot" end on it, which still doesn't seem to be at my local stores. Ever hear of such a thing? Edit: I can look into that Reach but the Main drain pipe is tight between joists so I'll look into maybe putting a bend in it in order...

    ABS 3" Sanitary Tee, H x S x H exist???

Here's a MS Paint of a description https://photos.app.goo.gl/e9Au5ZKT2LGiMsVS2. The toilet flange is one that is offset to avoid a joist so thats why I'm stuck with a HUB on the flange side of it

    ABS 3" Sanitary Tee, H x S x H exist???

Close but instead the curved portion thats sticking out to the right needs to be skinnier instead. The other two perpendicular ends need the normal fatter hubs to them. That will be the part thats going into the toilet flange and I need to be as close to the ceiling as possible.

    ABS 3" Sanitary Tee, H x S x H exist???

I need a tee like this for my project and havn't had luck finding it. 3 Inch on all sides, very similar to this https://www.lowes.ca/abs-fittings/canplas-abs-sanitary-tee-fitting_g1334917.html but instead the Verticle portion of the T has to be the skinny spigot end and not the same hub end as...
