Garbage Disposal hums but does not start, reset and used allen wrench
Use a hammer with a wooden handle and pry it against one of the riveted pieces on the turntable. If it doesn’t move, pry it the other way. It is safe to put your hand in there as long as it isn’t a batch feed disposal. If it is, shut off the breaker- Old plumber of 60
