Do people reccomend calling or emailing or something else to contact Toto? I'd just like to inform them of my issue and solution and hopefully maybe get a replacement for the original fill valve to have on hand.

I installed a platinum korky 528 with adjustable valve on overflow tube. After a little bit of adjustment it now fills perfectly. This was the 10 dollar one from Lowes. I noticed they also sell a "2x quality" version for 14 maybe I'll get that next time. I'll contact Toto and see if they'll send...

I think I'll pickup a korky platinum fill valve and see if it performs the same way. That way I don't sound like an idiot when I call Toto claiming I need a new one. 10 dollar experiment is worth it, for science.

Is this amount of seepage normal? It really just seems like not enough water is going to the bowl, like of I hope the handle down longer to make the flush cycle take longer it fills past the internal elbow and has a full bowl of water which looks more correct.

I checked the level of the bowl with a bubble level, it's fine. Here is a link to a video I just made of the "leaky" fill valve. If I hold the handle down and flush with the entire tank it fills the bowl to correct water spot.

The water in the tank rises to exactly 1/2" below edge of overflow tube as the instructions dictate. I checked the toilets level and its nearly perfect.
