After speaking with Kohler, they are sending me a new updated trim along with an adapter to retrofit it to my K 304 ancient valve. So I guess I'll just proceed with doing whatever I need to do to remove the old one. Have to say I'm impressed that Kohler is warrantying a 16 year old setup...

Trying to move Kohler K-T8228-4 Valve trim to replace a valve. What they call the lug handle which is that brass screw inside the hollow lever securing the lever to the stem is seized. I have stripped it trying to remove it. What are my options here? Do I need to cut the lever and hope to find...
