    I managed to get to the bottom of the lead sleeve but it doesn't look like it is held in with lead, I scraped the top with a long screwdriver and the material felt brittle, not soft like lead. Is there another joining method that was used?

    I bent up the lead from the flange and removed the broken flange I guess the next step is to break away the concrete from around the outside of the lead pipe and hopefully I will find a CI hub. I bent the lead in a bit and put an inspection camera in the gap and it looks like there is a hub...

    My slab on grade washroom had the slab re-poured some time after the initial construction, probably in the late 60's, to raise the floors 3". To raise the closet flange at the time two ABS flanges, one inverted, were crudely glued together and then sealed and fastened to the original flange...
