Question on proper settings for recirculator timer

Thank you. What is the difference between the recirc running - I know we get "instant" hot water in about 2-3 seconds it seems, what's it like with no recirc running? Does it take say 20-30 seconds to get hot? Or is it longer - is the "instant hot water heater" only instant if the recirc is...

Question on proper settings for recirculator timer

Hi, we have a Navien CR-240A tankless water heater, we have lived in this house for 3 years and it was here when we moved in. It works great, and we get the maintenance every year to descale it, etc. I have questions on the proper settings for our recirculator timer. I know how to do it, but I...

    Having trouble reattaching shower handle

Hi all, thanks in advance for any help you may be able to offer - you have been very helpful in the past! It seems like it's some logic puzzle that I can't get it back on. See the two pictures, you can probably see the two screws that slide into their spot via the larger part of the hole, then...

Having trouble in new house with hand shower

I just wanted to post back, I took a hammer, and with a heavy cloth over the tip of the diverter shaft, I gave it a few taps, and voila! It's working great now, water redirects to main shower head, or hand shower. Thanks so much for everyone's replies and help!

Having trouble in new house with hand shower

Thanks for the tips! I looked online to see if I can find a match, I know it was installed right around 2010 when the house was renovated. I don't see any model number on it unfortunately, and I didn't see any pictures that matched it.

Having trouble in new house with hand shower

I have tried, I pushed pretty hard - I didn't want to break something. If that's the diverter I can try again! Maybe a soft hammer hit?

Having trouble in new house with hand shower

Thanks for your reply @JerryR ! I looked closely at that too, the end screws off, it also screws off at the red arrow in the picture below. As you can see, I took it off, and even turned on the water, and it still ran water through the main shower head.

Having trouble in new house with hand shower

Hi all, thanks for letting me join, I too am having trouble getting the hand shower in our bathroom to turn on! I don't see any type of diverter. This is a home we just moved into. It's a Hansgrohe, I can't see a model number, but I included pictures here. It seems to me the hand shower itself...
