Thinking I’ll try the attached. It’s 2 1/4” height so should pick up enough space Question- Assuming I can attach a plastic piece to this? If you could share the piece I will need I’d really appreciate it Thank you

New kitchen sink backup when disposal on

    1. On the curved discharge how much higher than the wall drain does that need to be? Tried to show in photo with level from wall side to disposal. Disposal side is approx 1 3/4” higher than wall side. Probably would use up most of that making turn off disposal? 2. I see some 2 3/4” drains...

Yes. You’re right on baffle too. But I’m not seeing room to get the tee in on top to sink drain? Any help on how to fit that in?

New kitchen sink backup when disposal on

Just installed new kitchen countertop and sink. New sink is same or very close to old where we had no issues. Hooked up with a few mods. All good other than when turn on disposal a little water splashes up through second sink for a couple seconds then settles Same thing when dishwasher drains...

No Toilet Flange on slab floor

Had bath retiled. As shown in photo there is no flange. Bolts directly in slab. I did replace the toilet a few years ago and used the double wax rings and didn’t have issues but wondering what the best way to handle this would be? It’s a 3”.

Toilet Flange Height on New Tile

Decided to continue my thread from a few years ago since it’s the same subject and want to refer to advice previously given. I’ve set 5 toilets on new tile and each one brought its own set of existing challenges. Now I’m helping my son on his remodel and I’ve told him he has the perfect...

Toilet Flange Height on New Tile

Thank you for the detailed response. You've confirmed the way I was leaning after researching other similar issues on this forum. Trying to incorporate the extender seems to introduce the potential weak points as you describe.

Toilet Flange Height on New Tile

I retiled a bathroom and the existing flange is 1/4" below the new tile surface. The existing (ABS) flange is in good shape and screwed to subfloor. I visited my local plumbing supply counter and he said I should use a flange extension to increase height. The one he gave me (Bruco...

Dual Gas Hot Water Heater - Low Temp

OK 1. You are suggesting turn off supplies to Washing Machine and then testing? 2. We'll check mfg. of faucets and ask for recommendations if they are Moen. There are only two people in the house. Good example is we can't even get enough hot water to fill the tub. You get a few...

Dual Gas Hot Water Heater - Low Temp

Yes there is a softner. That line T's in to the cold water line feeding the rest of the house and then within a foot of that there is another T that goes back / down to the water heaters. The main supply comes directly into the softner and then feeds cold and hot as described. Are both...

Dual Gas Hot Water Heater - Low Temp

We have two 40 gallon water heaters set on high and we get hot water for less than a minute??? The system is 6 years old. We had a plumber out and they said everything is ok but obviously they don't know what they are talking about. I came across this piping diagram for BW heaters...
