Moen 2600 Shower cartridge identification

Hey all,
I’m at my parents house and the shower valve is leaking. I’m not familiar with this brand. Anyone know what shower cartridge this is? I wanted to grab the cartridge replacement first since the shower doesn’t have its own water shutoff. Thanks

Smoky, you might want to check out the sticky in the professional and DIY advice area its the one called Moen cartridge tool. (I think its very near the top thread) they are easy to change but can have challenges if you break it off you might have a real problem, most of us have had to learn at least once the hard way or at least know the stories .

Chateau and 2600 take the 1200 or 1225 cartridge
Moentrol takes the 1200 or 1225 cartridge
Posi-Temp takes the 1222 cartridge

Thanks guys, very much appreciate all the info. I read through the moen sticky post and seems like I should be prepared for a little struggle with this guy.
