Access from the front

How are you guys accessing shower valves when there is another shower on the wall behind - so you can't just cut sheetrock for access.

I use the Moen Tl2368EP trim with a Posi-Temp valve. Helps to have a jigsaw for the cuts on the wall.

That's the cool thing about a forum like this. I already have a solution I've been using, but Marlinman's solution; I like it better

havent done one from front lately. never used a piece like Mike used is that a pre finished piece or you gotta cut it and sand edges? Hadnt seen marlinmans big chrome nice option either . I used smitty plate and the big moen one
