I know all of these pumps work better with 3/4" pipe, but without ripping up 40' of my ceiling I have access to 1/2" @ 50psi. Straight run from the meter.

Is there an H20 backup sump pump that works with 1/2" pipe reasonably well in a power out situation? Using a Zoeller M63 for primary sump.

Basepump says it could work on 1/2"???

Thanks

I've installed several of the Basepumps for myself and friends. I believe they're nice units.

I'd call them and ask about the performance using the 1/2" pipe. I've always run a new 3/4" pipe.
