I'm trying to replace these and local HVAC shops can't identify it so I don't know what or where to order replacements from. I'm sorry I don't know whether these are ordered by outer frame or inner hole dimensions but I have 2 sizes. (These might be off a wee bit due to my unscientific measurement techniques..)

One measures 11 5/8" - actual hole, 10" between the little tab holes in the frame to hold the insert and 17.5" outer frame that's flush to the ceiling.

One measures 9.5" - actual hole, 7" between the little tab holes in the frame to hold the insert and 15.5" outer frame that's flush to the ceiling.

I'm looking for the insertable part that has 2 springs on it so I can cover the holes without having to replace the ceiling part.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The generic term for that type of "grille" is "ceiling diffuser". I can't tell you what make/model that is, but using the more commonly use term might help in a web search.
