I'm planning to are convert a closet to a half-bath. The cement wall and the cement floor(above which is a solid wood plank floor) will be supporting the vanity and the toilet. The other side of that wall contains a 6" waste pipe and two water supply lines, the vertical pipe is approximately 6" from the wall and the supply lines are likewise close to the wall. I'm worried that because all toilets discharge waste directly into the floor, this is not possible, because there is a commercial store directly underneath. I'm thinking that the plumber will have to connect a 90 degree(or more) from the bottom of the bowl thru the wall into the waste pipe. Because water flows 1/4"/foot, I will have to raise the toilet so high as to make it impractical to use. Is there a better solution?

There are rear discharge toilets that discharge by gravity. There are toilets used with a pump that can even pump uphill.

I don't really follow your description, but you might search for rear discharge toilet as a start.

Not to worry. Done all the time. Lots to choose from whether out the back by gravity or using a pump to defy gravity.
