Hi everyone. Looking into getting a new water backup sump pump system. As far as brands what are considered to be the best? I've heard to stay away from Zoeller even though of course their normal sump pumps are great. I'm looking at liberty sj10 & basepump (either RB750 or hb1000-pro) online. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Here are the links to the units i'm looking at:

Basepump HB1000-PRO Premium High Volume Water Powered Backup Sump Pump with Water Alarm

Basepump RB750-EZ Premium Water Powered Backup Sump Pump with Water Alarm

Liberty Pumps SJ10 1-1/2-Inch Discharge SumpJet Water Powered Back-Up Pump

thanks....

I've had great results using the Basepump water powered backup sump pump. I’m not a plumber but I’ve installed about six for myself, family and friends. All are still working great.

Before you purchase one read “Important! Pre-Qualify Your System, Pre-Installation 4 Point Checklist” at https://basepump.com/products/basepump/installation/.

I also use a HydroCheck HC6000 "Hi-Lo Sump Pump Controller" with a manual pump. They will also work with a switched pump. No floats to hang up and no mechanical switches to go bad. There are two sensors so you can set the on/off height where it works best for your situation and to reduce short cycling

I hope this helps.
