Greetings,
I am nearing the end of my bathroom remodel and I'm a bit lost on how to address the joint tape showing on the ceiling. It's some pretty old drywall, and the tape itself doesn't seem to be peeling or bulging, it's just very noticeable. The paint on the ceiling has begun to chip and crack as well, so I wondered if perhaps the moisture in the bathroom has caused the tape to reveal itself over time.
I want to get some advice before I go and prime the ceiling, and I doubt it and paint will hide the old tape. Thanks!

You may need to add some drywall mud to fully embed the tape so the seam is then invisible.
