Why not just make this easier on yourself. If the current vanity is in good shape take the top laminate and sink off or whatever you have. Go to a bragain outlet and get one of those pre cut granite countertops with sink installed and just drop it in with some silicone under it. Then a new faucet and paint degloss, prime and paint the bottom and you got yourself a brand new vanity. I used sherwin Williams extreme bond primer and water based alkyd paint. I even replaced he floor with floating LVT that looks like tile. Good luck.

It looks like you would need to move the drain up in the wall. Which may be fairly easy, or if the traparm comes in from the side will be harder.
The drain is normally 12" from the top of the countertop.
