Leaking shut off ball valve

Hi,

A 3/4" ball valve (sweat connections) that I recently installed is leaking at the "joint" shown on the attached photo. I suspect the only fix is to replace the whole valve, but just wanted to ask the experts.

At that joint? I would replace the valve. That is such a rare issue. Sorry about that.

You could maybe unscrew the valve at that point, clean the threads, apply sealant and screw it back together (tight). No guarantees it won't leak but why not try
