Installing a complex diverter valve for shower remodel. Need to create loop from bottom outlow up to shower head and from top outflow down to hand shower outlet. Limited space so have a 14" section of diverter line flush to the stud with clamps holding in place. Any code issues with this?

WHY do you have to interchange the flow directions? Normally all you would have to do is turn the valve upside down if the outlets are "directional".
