    Need sump pump and questions

It's your basin, you can do what ever you want with it! Some people drill holes, some people just cut slits in the sides with a skill saw! You can do what ever works best for your application!

    Need sump pump and questions

I agree with most of the above!:D As for as there being 3" of water left in the pit, the impeller in this pump is 3" from the bottom of the legs! That means even if you use a tethered switch and you have it set to the bottom of the pit, it is going to continuiously run the pump because the...

Are you pumping into a pressurized force main sewer?

    Zoeller Sump Pump Question

No, it doesn't reduce anything, I have had this come up before, the only thing that could happen is that the pump could "unscrew" itself from the discharge pipe. This has happened before because of the torque from when the pump turns on, This one guy swears he had it happen to him 3...

    Zoeller Sump Pump Question

With seawater, you might find more of the bronze pump in these applications, but the reason we offer it is that our competitors offer it. If the plastic plug was in place when you got the pump, there is no reason to worry about the small seepage of oil on the side of the pump!

    Zoeller Sump Pump Question

The bronze pump is going to be less corrosive than the epoxy coated all cast iron model. The build up of rust on the outside of the pumps is not going to cause one problem what so ever! We have actually had customers send back their old rusted pumps that were well over 20 years old and have...

    Sewage Pump/Basin question

Is the weep hole you drilled in the discharge pipe under water when the punp turns on? If it is you will need to drill another hole up higher on the pipe so that the water level never reaches it! When this pump is running but not pumping, can you see the pump at all? If not, and the next...

    Need Sump Basin Advice

No it is not going to matter which basin you use, they are going to be made out of "poly" or fiberglass and both will do the job you want them to do!

    Sewage (ejector) pump problem

You should be able to just replace the check valve and that will take care of it!

    Venting an outdoor sewer pump

If your local code does not require an outside vent, then why vent it at all, it is outside correct? The 4" incoming line is going to have enough air in it for the pump to operate correctly! All of our outdoor basins do not have vents or require vents, it is only if your local code...

    Zoeller sump pump recall info

If you are picking up the M-53 you will not have a problem with it! If you are picking up any pump right now, you are not going to have a problem with it! It was for only some ofthe pumps that were made September and October of 2006. This was for only about 2600 pumps of different models...
