DIY ceiling mounted rainfall shower head addition

Also, I did use copper everywhere except the overhead faucet. I got away with using a single elbow joint in that entire run, and ill be sure to insulate the 2 feet of pex in the attic. Its already sitting below the blown insulation on top of the sheetrock. Thanks for all the suggestions

DIY ceiling mounted rainfall shower head addition

Can I get some opinions on this soldered joint? It doesnt have a liquidy beed like my others, but its holding water for several hours now. Im just not confident in how it looks. I used tinning flux and a 1/2 inch solder. Am i fine to close the wall up if no issues for a couple days? If not, can...

DIY ceiling mounted rainfall shower head addition

Thank you for the response. I found the R22000 rough in valve which appears to be integrated and have the ability to do what im looking for... I guess the rainshower doesnt need a lot of pressure, I ordered a showerhead designed to mimic rain, not a full body spray. I was hoping to confirm my...

DIY ceiling mounted rainfall shower head addition

Looking at delta r22000 with trim for 3 way use (A, B, A+B) and running pex up to the attic then over to rainfall location. Do I have to elbow it once in the attic or can I do a a couple alow radius bends with those plastic pex benders (to try to minimize pressure loss). Does the pex have to...

    Adding sink with new vanity

Here is what I went with... Sinks are 44 inches apart so it's a little funky.. Rough ins are at 21" to the center of the pipe opening... Is that ok? Also the lowest drain fitting I used is a combo is that a problem? I also put too much slope on that horizontal line, 1.5" over 18" run... Will...

    Adding sink with new vanity

Thank you! Without the added piping you drew I may end up with venting or code problems right? I feel more comfortable with your solution and is likely exactly what im going to do. I assume the vent pipe needs no slope and the upside down santee is for future snaking..

    Adding sink with new vanity

I see these 2 diagrams for 1 1/2", how can I apply this with my current setup? The 2nd picture would work but both sinks will be to the right of the drain/vent

    Adding sink with new vanity

Hello Ive studied the related threads on this topic and I'm either too novice to understand how to apply the solutions provided, or my setup is different. I chased a leak in my bathroom which led to me remove flooring, vanity, drywall, etc. Now I want to replace it with 2 sinks and need a little...
