    I've found relays that I thought would work but I didn't take into account the solenoid. Whatever relay I get would have to power the solenoid too. It sounds like the relay powers the compressor and energizes the solenoid at the same time to get air into the tank. Then when power is removed...

    I guess it would have to be, nothing else in there to step the voltage down. Just the relay. I'll try jumping it when I get home. Is there anywhere to get parts other than the culligan dealer?

    No sir I have not. I need to find my meter. How would I jump power to it? I'm assuming its not 120v because the wiring is much smaller but don't know for sure.

    If I pull the air line off of where it conects to the top of the tank and run the pump there is air coming out of the line. I'm positive the compressor is fine. The air line connects to a fitting on top of the areator. On the other side of that is the solenoid. I'm just wondering if the solenoid...

    I have a culligan iron cleer that's on the fritz. It started out with the compressor not shutting off. Not having the money for a service call I just unplugged the unit and put in bypass. Now I'm trying to get it going again and the compressor would not run at all. All I got was clicking noises...
