Damper in bathroom fan housing stuck

Could the pins that allow the flapper to swing be gunked up or something? I can push it a bit but it flexes not swings. It’s 19 years old.

Damper in bathroom fan housing stuck

The damper at the housing of my bathroom fan is stuck. Don’t want to break it, but not sure how hard to force it to swing loose again. Any suggestions?

    Water heater popping noise

That’s surprising. This sound seems new to me. It sounds like something is rattling inside. Are you suggesting the noise is superheated steam?

    Water heater popping noise

Have a 75gal AO smith gas water heater. It is less than 6 years old. Noticed some popping noise when the flame was on like something rattling on the inside of the tank. Drained it completely today. Not too much sediment. Made sure to flush a few times after draining to get all clear. The...

    Noise at Grundfos recirculator valves

So you think the slam when pump is on (and I open hot or close cold) is because the valve has buildup?

    Noise at Grundfos recirculator valves

I have a Grundfos UP15-10SU7P/TLC Comfort System. I have a few Comfort Valves under sinks throughout my house. I notice a knocking sound at my Comfort valves when timer has the pump “off” and I open hot or close cold. The knocking sound doesn't happen when the timer turns the pump “on” and I...

Water leaking from toilet seat screw

Yes the hairline crack is at the hole for the seat screw. Not sure if any patches to this area are worthwhile. It isn’t an area like the tank or bowl which have constant water weight, but I’m not sure why this crack appeared after 17 years in this location.

Water leaking from toilet seat screw

Just noticed a potential hairline crack in the seat screw hole. This might explain why the leak only occurs when I flush. The water coming into the bowl at the rim must be very close to the seat screw hole. Can this be patched?

Water leaking from toilet seat screw

Yes, I see water leaking from the hole that holds the screw that affixes the seat to the bowl only when I flush. Not the bolts that affix the tank to the bowl. How can this be?
