    Not to bother too much. It leaked once only, should I accept if someone says we need to open the ceiling below because something could be damaged or is that not worth ? Thank you very much for all the help and attention

    I went to check now and I cant see anything looking strange on the floor. I did however notice gaps on the metal fixtures that attache to the wall

    I do think my friend was probably careless. Can you reproduce this without getting water on the floor? You mean testing it, being careful not to get water on the floor and check downstairs if leaks again? THANK YOU SO MUCH

    Water leaked trough the light fixture of apt below when the shower (in the bathtub) was used. It hadn't been used for a couple months, and as soon as we turned of the water the leak stopped. There was never any problem before, but after this I noticed a tiny gap below the grout around the bath...
