    Clack water softener? Maybe ws1?

Hey guys, I bought a house a couple years ago and it looks like it has an older Clack WS1 water softener with a date on the tank of 06-18-2018. I don't want to mess it up so is there a manual for it? Of course there isn't any marking on it other than on the bottom of the tank itself. I'm not...

Hey guys I'm working on my bathroom remodel and decided to use a bathtub surround. I have a Delta shower valve and soldered on a 1/2" copper tub spout. I was going to install the surround but realized the surround peice that sits against the shower valve/tub spout wall has to be slid into...

    Bathroom remodel plumbing questions.

Thank you! My vents turn 90 degrees about 3' above the flood rim level (~54" from floor) and are sloped accordingly. If I'm understanding aggregate vent area the vents have to be matched to the main drain size. I have 2 full baths, washer, utility sink that's not hooked up, and kitchen sink...

PEX perpendicular to post and beam built house?

Hey guys, I'm running some PEX to replace some galvanized pipe in my bathroom. I have a house built using post and beam construction. How do you run PEX perpendicular to the beams? If you are supposed to support it every 32" and the beams are 4' apart? How far apart is it OK to run PEX side...

Can't get p-trap to stop leaking?

I tried a new cone washer (I found a rubber one) and it didnt stop the leak. I wrapped the threads in teflon tape and the leak stopped. I know it's not a permanent fix but I have no idea what to do at this point. I also wrapped teflon tape around the sink drain nut and it stopped that leak too...

Can't get p-trap to stop leaking?

Perfect. The plastic does have a joint on it and I was thinking that was the issue. I'm going to look for those washers or find another ptrap that doesnt have the joint on the bottom. Thanks!

I will give that a try when I get home. I've been tightening the swivel on the trap first then everything after that.

Can't get p-trap to stop leaking?

It wont be until I get off work tomorrow. The plastic cone washer is facing the correct direction on every fitting. The sink drain leaked because the rubber washer was threaded and I didnt realize it and I didnt want long enough for the silicone caulking to dry on drain. The stoppage makes...
