    European faucet installation advice

Hello, I am trying to install this Fantini faucet in my bathroom and the hoses have European connections. Can anyone recommend how I might make this work? Are there ways of replacing the hoses completely? An adapter that would work? Thank you! Any advice is appreciated.

Shower - valve intermittently not mixing cold/hot

Hello, First time homeowner here in need of some help. Our home was a down to the studs renovation two years ago so everything is new. The master shower has a pressure balance Phlyrich valve that's recently begun to only deliver hot or cold water. This happens intermittently and not every time...

LA area - Water softener needed

Thanks, all. @breplum The problem is less with spots on the shower glass and more with the hardness and residue that's appearing on all of my faucets and drains, and even inside the dishwasher and along the tile/grout in my shower. Many of my drains are black. My kitchen faucet is copper. My...

LA area - Water softener needed

Hello, I am looking for a water softener recommendation and possibly whole-home filter. Can anyone recommend a local dealer/advisor/specialist or how I can begin the process? Should I conduct a water test myself first? And then pass that on to the advisor? If so, how? I have LA City water. 2-3...

Advice for decorate trap not aligning with waste line

Thanks. And if anyone has other ideas on how I could adjust this in the most inconspicuous way possible, whether it's at the tailpiece or a small piece right before the waste line, I'd be most appreciative.

Advice for decorate trap not aligning with waste line

I hear you. In this case, the design of this room never changed from the original architect drawings. It was a rare moment. Also, this isn't the only plumbing related issue that came up... unfortunately.

Advice for decorate trap not aligning with waste line

Macrame! There you go! hahahaha i'm fine with paying the extra dollars for a nice-looking properly finished piece since it's part of the design. But do wonder if there's an angle or flexible piece that could be hidden within the cabinet and connect to an extension. I'm going to have to get some...

Advice for decorate trap not aligning with waste line

Yes 1-1/4" Would it be possible to put an angled piece or flexible piece connecting to a nicer looking extension for when it's visible. I need matte white, which means I'm looking at something like brasstech for the bottle traps etc.

Advice for decorate trap not aligning with waste line

These are good ideas. Unfortunately shifting the sink drain won't be possible because the new sinks are being fabricated from the same tile as the countertop (integrated). The size of the opening is pretty restrictive between the drawers. Also, the bed of the sink is going to be 4 triangular...

Advice for decorate trap not aligning with waste line

My photos are more forgiving than it looks in person. In person, you notice that they are angled/crooked when you walk inside. I'd like to try and clean it up if possible

Advice for decorate trap not aligning with waste line

Hello, Hoping some pros or experienced folk can help me with a problem... My master bath has 2 vanity sinks on a floating countertop with drawers. The space beneath the drawers/countertop is open and empty... Meaning, there are 2 decorative white P-Traps visible under the vanity. The...

Whole home filter and softener recommendation

Got it. I wasn't going to buy online, but would find a local dealer. Springwell is what comes up though across the board when I google "best" onllne. That said, I'll look into dealers for the manufacturers you suggest. Also, just did a bit more research and it seems that sodium-based water...

Whole home filter and softener recommendation

Thank you for the help. RE: Softener. Sounds like I should order a test kit to determine my needs. RE: Filter. I'll look into those options. The bypass isn't totally necessary for me as the filter will be installed on the main line for use only with water in my house - after my irrigation and...
