If my possible solution doesn't work, I'll get a pic uploaded...what I relized is that I could cut the overflow pipe and put in a 1 1/2 flexible/telescoping fitting (the thin plastic stuff, not sure what it's called) and it would allow me to get the overflow an inch closer to the tub than it...
