Scandia Shower/Spa help

Scandia Shower/Spa help (Pics added) I have a Scandia Evolution 100R. The on/off control has become very hard to turn. Took off the cover plate, retaining nut but can not get the valve out. It wiggles in the housing, won't turn either direction, has a small notch in the outer ring. Anyone know...
