My plan was to screw a "female to solder" fitting onto the existing male and the solder a 45 to that and a second 45 to that one and then to the ball valve.

I want to take this gate valve out and replace it with a 1/4 turn ball valve. It is screwed onto a male 3/4" copper fitting that is right against the wall coming into the home. I am worried if I heat the fitting and it starts leaking, I will never get it resealed being so close to the wall...

For the blue poly line, do you all normally put sand or gravel in the trench, or can I just backfill normally?

Thanks for the advise. There is no pump, I am tieing directly into rural water system, but I dont think that matters. I will run the hydrants off of "T's" in the main line. Thanks

It is hitting the tile

I like the diamond wheel idea. As for the inside 3" flange, that is what I am using, however it has a small "shelf" on the bottom side of it and this "shelf" is keeping the flange from going flush with the floor.

If I start busting on that tile, how big of a risk do I run of it shattering where it will be visible even after the toilet is set?
